Chapter 5

Katie felt like she was back in High School getting ready to give a speech in front of the class. The difference was this time there was no speech, she was going to strip. The other thing was that her body was buzzing with a sexual energy that she was sure people could hear.

Tim told her that she had to wait until she heard the music, then count to twenty and walk through the doors. There would be tables pushed together for her to dance on, and then the real fun would begin. He took her phone and car keys to keep them safe and she had to stand alone in the room; time felt like it stood still.

Finally she heard Hot in Herre by Nelly begin. There was no doubt that was her cue to start the count. She started to count to twenty while howls and whistling fought to be heard over the music.

She got to ‘ten’ and she put her hand on the handle.

At ‘fifteen’ she turned the handle, but kept the door closed.

‘Sixteen.’

‘Seventeen.’

She gripped the handle tight to keep her hand from shaking.

‘Eighteen.’

‘Nineteen.’

‘SHOWTIME!’

Katie pulled the door open and the sound of Nelly and the howls of the players slammed into her. She walked into the room like she was the highest paid model on the runway at fashion week. Her smile was genuine and she scanned the group of naked men for where Jacob stood.

The men parted like the Red Sea, but just enough for her to walk to the center of the room where a man waited to lift her on to the makeshift stage of tables. He was still wearing a uniform, and although he looked like age and donuts had added some weight to his middle, he lifted her like she was light as a feather.

She was always turned on when someone watched her undress, and now she had a chance to do it in front of a crown of naked men. The howling increased in volume as she broke into her routine.

Earlier in the week she bought a new sundress in the team’s colors. She figured that whatever way she could support the team and assist with Jacob’s career, she had to do. Katie twirled and spun and the dress lifted with her efforts. With the dress no longer protecting the view, the men in the room had a firsthand view of her white G-string.

She almost laughed as the whistling increased and players shook fistfuls of money at her; calling her over for a closer inspection and stuff her panties. Her concern was where Jacob was, and after another spin she saw him on the far side of the tables.

The song was coming to an end and she started unbuttoning the front of her dress. During the several seconds of dead air from the speaker, she paused and the men laughed and cheered. The next song was Cherry Pie by Warrant and she started moving her hips as she finished with the buttons.
